Essay & Speech Contest

 Starting in 2009 the Meriden Rotary Club, in conjunction with district 7980, began the 4-way test essay and speaking contest for high school students. The students are asked to incorporate the 4-way test into their writing or speaking, with the winners receiving education awards. 

The winners of the contest are then entered into a district contest, where they have an opportunity to advance to a national competition.
