Silver City Brewfest

Started in 1999, the Silver City Brewfest is an evening with good friends for a good cause in Downtown Meriden.  Ticket holders can sample over 50 International & Micro Brews.  For those who don't like beer, there is also a selection of 25 wines to sample as well.  The event inlcudes hamburgers, hot dogs and music. Local restaurants participate in a food competition (chili, soup, wings etc.).  A different local charity/organization is chosen as the recipient of the money raised each year.  This year's recipient is Mt. Caramel. 

The Meriden Rotary Club helps to organize the event, sell tickets, and provided security at the event.
